How does United Tiny Homes handle off-grid solar integration on the AuxBungalow™?
The press release mentions each AuxBungalow™ is designed to operate fully off-grid with integrated solar. Does United Tiny Homes handle that themselves in the factory, or is it installed on-site after delivery? Would love to understand the build process from panel to placement.
Garfield District infill — will United Tiny Homes supply those units too?
RMTA is proposing three AuxBungalow™ units on a scraped lot in the Garfield Historic District. Will those be manufactured by United Tiny Homes as well? And does the Corten steel exterior work within Garfield's historic compatibility requirements? Curious if Mike Rumpletine has modified the design for the downtown context.
There's a centuries-old trail running through the Sunnyslope property — what's the plan for it?
I hike Sunnyslope regularly and I'm pretty sure the historic trail that passes through the 1104 E El Caminito site is one of the old desert paths that's been used for centuries. Has RMTA addressed how the development will interact with that trail? Will it be preserved, incorporated into the site design, or rerouted? I'd hate to see it paved over.
What has United Tiny Homes built before? Can we see examples of their work?
RMTA is vetting United Tiny Homes as their manufacturing partner for the Sunnyslope hillside site. Has anyone visited their Goodyear facility or seen finished homes they've delivered? I'd love to know what their quality is like before getting excited about the AuxBungalow™ units.
Tell me more about Mike Rumpletine — who is the architect behind AuxBungalow™ and AuxMINI™?
I've been reading about RMTA and saw that Mike Rumpletine from Brick and West is the architect master planning the Sunnyslope site. What's his background? And is he designing both the market-rate AuxBungalow™ AND the one-for-one shelter home, the AuxMINI™? That's a huge design challenge — curious how he's approaching both ends of the spectrum.
Investment in RMTA — does the one-for-one AuxMINI™ model affect returns?
The one-for-one model where every AuxBungalow™ funds an AuxMINI™ shelter home is admirable. But for investors thinking about returns, how does that social obligation factor into the financial model? Is the AuxMINI™ program built into the project pro forma from the start, or is it funded separately from profits?

Community access to the hillside trail — can neighbors still use it during and after construction?
The trail through the El Caminito site has been used by the Sunnyslope community for as long as anyone can remember. Once development begins, will there be a formal easement or public access agreement to keep that trail open? This feels like something the neighborhood should weigh in on before permits are pulled.
How does the Brick and West master plan handle the steep terrain on the hillside lot?
I went to the January site tour and was struck by how steep parts of the 3.5-acre lot actually are. How is Mike Rumpletine approaching the slope analysis and grading requirements? The City's Fact Find mentioned hillside grading compliance — are the AuxBungalow™ units being positioned to minimize disturbance, or is significant grading expected?
