Ben Brosseau :: RMTA Sunnyslope

Meet the founder and hear the vision behind the first prefab hillside community in the United States.

Ben Brosseau is the founder and producer of Real Modern Terrain Arts (RMTA), a studio created to solve housing through architect‑led, terrain‑responsive modular design. He established RMTA to expand access to high‑quality, small‑footprint homes and to embed a social mission directly into the business model. Every market‑rate AuxBungalow™ placed funds a matching AuxMINI™ shelter home, creating a one‑for‑one system that grows affordable housing alongside RMTA's core work.

He leads RMTA's development strategy across entitlement, site planning, modular manufacturing coordination, and deployment logistics, building a controlled, repeatable delivery pipeline for placing architecturally rigorous homes on infill, hillside, and ADU‑scale sites.

Before founding RMTA, Brosseau built a career in arts and entertainment public relations, operating the award‑winning Brosseau PR and Auxpr.com. His West Hollywood office was featured in a full one‑hour Amazon Prime episode, highlighting his work in celebrity management, brand placement, red‑carpet production, and campaign execution across Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Minneapolis.

After returning to Phoenix, he earned both his Arizona real estate license and his ADRE teaching certificate, enabling him to teach the systems, history, and practical realities of housing, preservation, and development. He served two terms on the Scottsdale Historic Preservation Commission, contributing to policy, public engagement, and the visibility of Scottsdale's architectural resources.

Brosseau is also an adjunct lecturer at the University of North Dakota School of Entrepreneurship, where he teaches business communication, modular innovation, and community‑integrated development. As a public speaker, he presents on the future of housing, the role of communication in entrepreneurship, and the intersection of design, policy, and social impact.

His combined background in production, preservation, communication, and housing strategy shapes RMTA's mission to deliver architecturally rigorous, affordable, socially accountable homes.
